Beaver Falls on Havasu Creek, Grand Canyon, Arizona
The magical travertine waters of Havasu Creek create a “Garden of Eden” atmosphere in this incredible tributary to the Grand Canyon. The mineral rich water renders cave-like calcium carbonate formations which just add to the mystique of this isolated paradise. Located on Havasupai tribal land within the National Park, access is restricted by permit and visitation requires a long and difficult but worthwhile multi-day backpacking trip.
